How quickly can you collect?

Most central-Manchester collections are made within 30–60 minutes of booking. Anywhere within Greater Manchester is normally within the hour. Pre-booked collections work to your nominated time.

Are your drivers vetted?

Yes. All Cend drivers are DBS-checked and trained on the handling of confidential material. We can provide vetting paperwork on request for clients with formal supplier-onboarding requirements.

Do you sign for the documents at collection?

Always. The driver hands you a digital receipt at collection and a separate signature or photo proof of delivery is captured at the destination.

What happens if the recipient is not available?

Our drivers will telephone the recipient using the contact you provide, wait a reasonable period, and follow your instructions for re-attempts, leaving with reception, or returning the document to you. Every action is logged on the proof-of-delivery record.

Can you handle out-of-hours deliveries?

Yes. Cend operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is no surcharge for weekends or bank holidays on most jobs — out-of-hours collections may carry a small premium which we will agree when you book.

What insurance is included?

Standard goods-in-transit insurance is included on every delivery. For exceptionally high-value documents (for example, signed bearer instruments or original wills) we can arrange specific cover; please mention this when you enquire.
